my friends, Linder and David, have a lovely garden that they cultivate both for their own pleasure and to sell at the market...it was Linder's birthday and so we made our way down there with much pleasure. We toured the gardens, had a wonderful dinner (we supplied and cooked for her!) and did our hearts much good with laughter and talk. This morning after a wonderful sleep - Linder and I swam while Kerol took some photos - then we watched Germany stomp Britain at the world cup. And we won't talk about that goal that was ignored...

Great photos. Sounds like a wonderful time.

Thoughts in Progress
I love that garden. And you seem to have had a great day
What gorgeous pictures. Love the garden and whatever those plants around the tree are in the next-to-last picture.
Mason - we had such a blast but after 35 years we do know how to do that!
Natasha - I have 154 pics so lots to post...I just had to choose a few. I have some wonderful peony closeups. So sexy!
Helen - I have no idea! They might be a sort of vibratum...wedding bower thingy but really, I just made that up. I'll ask Linda.
What a beautiful garden and what a wonderful day you must have had. Looks like Bridal Wreath Spirea under the tree...like a wedding gown! I note in the garden, the vegetables are actually spaced properly and the lettuce is heading up. Very nice!
I'd love to get lost in that garden!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. That was beautiful! And so true! :)
