I don't mean to ignore you!

It's just that I seem to be ignoring everything that isn't either my writing or livlihood these days. For instance, I haven't picked up the accordion in months. I haven't looked at my garden even though I want to mulch it to bed before the frost hits. I haven't raked my leaves or cleaned out the back room. I haven't done my sitting practice or started the hat I'm knitting for Kerol. These aren't terrible things to do. Most of them are things that I like doing (except for cleaning out the back room). So I'm in a bit of a funk I guess. A time funk. So, I thought today, since I get a whole hour I didn't know I had, that I would see if I could use it for something that might pick me up a bit.

I'm using http://www.mytomatoes.com/ to keep track of time by the way. It gives you 25 minute bursts of time followed by five minute or longer breaks. It is an ideal program because, as they tell you, we can all work at something for 25 minutes. I'm taking a slightly longer break having done an hour's work on my revision - to write this up. I also did some dishes and walked around a bit.

So today - I will post some nice pictures as my photography is definitely something that is keeping me happy. I'll post some pictures of my granddaughter, Hannah's ninth birthday, and maybe some countryside ones too.

my friend Arlo, selling his book to people coming off the cruise ships! good to be self-employed when you're ninety...

waiting at the side of the road for Ron to make a call on his cell...

the north shore near Linder's...

I wonder if there is something about the month of November that slows us down. So many people (even those who aren't NaNo-ing) are pulling back from things like blog writing. Maybe we are genetically programmed to rest up before the big chill...I'm struggling too...

You have a lot going on this month. Thanks for sharing the photos. Your granddaughter is adorable. Try to remember to take a little time for yourself.

Happy birthday, Hannah! Sounds like an interesting time management program... I wonder if I could convince myself to do any housework if I used such a thing... better not risk it...

Love the pics!

Those beach shots make me miss the early morning beach walks I used to take when I lived in Florida. Nice photos.

Don't feel bad, I haven't picked up an accordion in months, either.
